There are two sides to AI. No matter which social media platform you scroll, you'll find both communities.
One community claims AI is the biggest bubble since the dot-com era. The other says this is not a bubble at all, we're witnessing a technological shift unlike anything we've seen before. They point to the charts, the revenue, and the pace of acceleration.
The interesting part is that both communities have their own version of the truth based on the data they have. And no, neither side is completely wrong.
Most private AI labs don't share their numbers. You might expect more transparency from public companies, but even they usually hide AI revenue inside larger business segments. That makes it almost impossible to know what customers are actually paying for or how much money AI is really making.
