But the AI market is so big right now that a company can be "winning" and still reach almost nobody.
A new Epoch AI/Ipsos survey just made that visible. They polled around 5,000 Americans across three waves in March and April. Asked which AI tools they'd used in the past week. Then matched answers against household income.
80% of weekly Claude users live in $100K+ households. ChatGPT sits at 60%. Meta AI sits at 37%. The US adult average is 50%.
Same Tech, Different Doorways
The first explanation everyone reaches for.. Claude is expensive, so only rich people use it.

Yes, AI usage in general is higher among wealthy people. ChatGPT is at 60%, ten points above the national average. People with more money do use AI more, across every product. That's real.
